Marc was a wonderful host! He’s very attentive and is a huge help with recommendations. He also responds very quickly to messages / questions.

Marc’s apartment is in a great location with great restaurants and attractions nearby. It’s an easy 15-minute stroll to Sagrada Familia. The apartment has two balconettes facing the street and a bigger balcony facing an interior patio. Our son loved playing in the playground in the patio. Also, the kitchen was completely equipped. We cooked several times and had everything we needed.

I can’t say enough good things about this apartment. I would stay there again!

  A snooty landlord doesn't let you have fun in the apartment every moment complains about a million things that didn't happen at all, looks for all kinds of reasons to... read more charge more in the end.. takes pictures of basic things of a drop of dirt and asks for a thousand euro fine for cleaning that has already been paid in advance money for cleaning . Ruined our vacation every moment, notifications about noise even when we were not in the apartment, just an annoying landlord, not recommended at all, what's more, the apartment is not like the pictures at all.

  Xmas Trip 3 generations: 15 nights with 4 adults and 2 teens who were happy to have their own rooms. Best location and a great space to hang out together... read more after long days. Being able to hook up our laptops for Netflix movie night was a bonus. Marc is charging top dollar for a stellar location but he needs to up his bedding game and take care of deferred maintenance at these prices (1st week no mattress pads-so sheets directly on mattress, no extra blankets provided in winter, very limited towel supply, needs bath grout and deep cleaning, shower door seal and drain repair, paint chips falling off door frames, baseboards coming off, worn couches). Hall debris when we arrived so he sent cleaner back and offered to clean after 7 days again. Cleaner left a poopy pillow that had been washed and molded in the laundry room so the smell was disgusting. Dryer was very old and sanitation was now an issue—he had a new dryer delivered. Marc was very responsive like that throughout our stay!

The apartment is a walk or just a train ride away to all tourist areas. Walking and riding public transportation is the most efficient way to get around. The apartment was clean and felt very comfortable, like a home away from home. There are so many shops and food places surrounding the apartment, that everything you need is a walk away. I also like that the specific area the apartment was located was not as crowded as the La Rambla or other touristy areas of Barcelona. I recommend Marc's apartment with a big group. Thank you Marc.
