This is one of the rare places that is actually like a real family's apartment that we borrowed for a week: beautiful, fully furnished, including all needs for the baby (toys too!). Plenty of dishes and silverware. Very clean. Marc is very responsive and helpful. There are a number of tourist maps and books in the house. The location is great - a few blocks from Passeig de Gracia, Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, lots of restaurants and grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. 2 Metro stops within 10 minutes. With a big group, having 2.5 baths was a huge help. Entry is electronic so everyone was able to put the link on their phones so no worries about who had the key. Highly recommend this apartment if you are going to Barcelona.

The apartment is enormous and full of character. Beds... read more and furniture are all clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and well functioning. The kitchen has everything needed to cook any meal and spacious enough to have multiple people cooking together.
Marc has thought of every detail. There’s even a printer to be able to print off boarding passes if needed.
The neighborhood is beautiful, clean, and quiet. The apartment is in walking distance of all the major sites and great restaurants and has many metro stops that can bring you anywhere else you need to go.
Marc is very helpful and responsive, even arranging an airport transfer for all of us at 5:30 am!
Do not hesitate to book! After staying here, no other place in Barcelona will ever compare!

  Xmas Trip 3 generations: 15 nights with 4 adults and 2 teens who were happy to have their own rooms. Best location and a great space to hang out together... read more after long days. Being able to hook up our laptops for Netflix movie night was a bonus. Marc is charging top dollar for a stellar location but he needs to up his bedding game and take care of deferred maintenance at these prices (1st week no mattress pads-so sheets directly on mattress, no extra blankets provided in winter, very limited towel supply, needs bath grout and deep cleaning, shower door seal and drain repair, paint chips falling off door frames, baseboards coming off, worn couches). Hall debris when we arrived so he sent cleaner back and offered to clean after 7 days again. Cleaner left a poopy pillow that had been washed and molded in the laundry room so the smell was disgusting. Dryer was very old and sanitation was now an issue—he had a new dryer delivered. Marc was very responsive like that throughout our stay!

Each bedroom had A/C (and Marc even installed one on our second day). A couple of the rooms have some noise from either the middle hall in the building or upstairs. So if you are a light sleeper, this might be one thing to note. You do need mobile data to get in initially as it is an internet link that opens both the main building doors and the apartment doors. There is washer and separate dryer which was very useful. The kitchen is fully equipped and had everything we needed. There were also games and toys for the kids to play with. There is a brand new 3.5 meter long tables with modern pendant light above that want in the pictures. We hosted a private chef dinner and was great. Location is very good. Thx!
