The place is very spacious with a... read more long hall separating 3 of the rooms from the kitchen, dining and living room areas. The two larger bedrooms are very spacious. Each bedroom had A/C (and Marc even installed one on our second day). A couple of the rooms have some noise from either the middle hall in the building or upstairs. So if you are a light sleeper, this might be one thing to note. You do need mobile data to get in initially as it is an internet link that opens both the main building doors and the apartment doors. There is washer and separate dryer which was very useful. The kitchen is fully equipped and had everything we needed. There were also games and toys for the kids to play with. There is a brand new 3.5 meter long tables with modern pendant light above that want in the pictures. We hosted a private chef dinner and was great. Location is very good. Thx!

This is also the first airbnb where the photos and description exactly matched the space I saw upon arrival. It is an incredibly airy, open and bright space which was perfect for me. I did combine a couple of the twin beds to form doubles instead of having people sleep in twins, but this was the only substantive change I made. The shared living space was large and open with multiple seating options; the kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need for a longer stay enabling cooking at home despite all the great restaurants nearby. The washer and drier enabled me to pack lightly, and I loved using the balcony clothesline to be environmentally friendly. This building is not composed of short-term rentals- I liked being a local!

This is one of the rare places that is actually like a real family's apartment that we borrowed for a week: beautiful, fully furnished, including all needs for the baby (toys too!). Plenty of dishes and silverware. Very clean. Marc is very responsive and helpful. There are a number of tourist maps and books in the house. The location is great - a few blocks from Passeig de Gracia, Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, lots of restaurants and grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. 2 Metro stops within 10 minutes. With a big group, having 2.5 baths was a huge help. Entry is electronic so everyone was able to put the link on their phones so no worries about who had the key. Highly recommend this apartment if you are going to Barcelona.

Marc has thought of everything,... read more every detail, extra materials for guests, brochures are placed tactfully so guests can get ideas of what to do in the city, maps available for travel throughout the city, laundry supplies, kitchen fully stocked, cribs and extra sheets, etc. the beds were comfortable and the layout of the apartment is perfectly set up, social spaces are separate from most of the bedrooms so when some family members want to sleep, there is a separation and they are are not disturbed by the family members towards the front of the apartment in the living or dining rooms. Kitchen is big and is good for light cooking. While we were there the stove gave us a little trouble but it can be easily managed. Overall, when I return to Barcelona, I would hope Marc would allow my family and I to stay again. One of the best trips of my life!
